Hey!
My name is Makhosonke Jafta born in Pretoria South Africa but currently based in Port Elizabeth. I am a 3rd Year student Nelson Mandela University studying towards a Bachelors in Visual Arts degree.
In my photography I strive to be versatile as possible, however my favourite style of photography is candid, portraits and land-scape. I am more fond of taking portraits because I love interacting and networking
with people and i find the whole experience interesting. I find it fascinating how the camera is able to capture and freeze a the moment in time for ever. I have done a few client work which include weddings and photoshoots.
Why I do this
Photography, to me, is about more than just taking pictures — it’s about capturing moments, emotions, and stories that deserve to be remembered. I love working with people and creating images that feel authentic, natural, and personal. Whether it’s a graduation, portrait session, event, or special moment, my goal is to create photographs that you can look back on and feel something every time.
How I work
I keep the process simple, relaxed, and focused on you. Before every shoot, I take the time to understand what you’re looking for and the kind of images you want. During the session, I’ll guide you when needed while also giving you space to be yourself, especially when capturing natural and candid moments. From planning and shooting to editing and delivering the final images, I pay attention to the details to make sure you receive photographs you’ll be proud to keep and share.
